Lattice-Boltzmann modeling of lifted hydrogen jet flames: A new model for hazardous ignition prediction

چکیده
This numerical study deals with the hazardous ignition of a jet flame in vitiated co-flow. A novel formulation, based on passive scalar variable, will be presented to predict hydrogen auto-ignition events. The model, derived from theoretical analysis Jacobian, correctly describes appearance and absence complex configurations initial thermodynamic mixture conditions. No chemical reaction species equations are required perform simulations. Results Lattice Boltzmann Methods (LBM) simulations 3D H2/N2 Cabra using detailed H2-Air mechanism. Validation against experimental results provided for lift-off (distance auto-ignition). predictions successfully compared reactive show potential extension this model an extensive spectrum safety large-scale turbulent combustion applications.
